Greece And The Greek Islands Travelcade
We are continuing to make arrangements for our exciting 15 day travelcade. We will spend the first week touring Athens (including the Acropolis, the Olympic stadium, and much more) and Delphi (location of the Corinthian Valley and the Temple of Apollo, etc). Then we board our motor-cruising yacht for a week's cruise on the calm Aegean Sea to visit five islands (Delos, Mykonos, Patmos, Santorini and Paros) and Ephesus (Kusadasi) Turkey. An optional 3 night extension is available to the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea. We will fly to this island. All 24 cabins on our cruise ship are located on the outside of the ship and have a private bathroom with shower, mini-fridge, satellite TV, telephone, and air-conditioning. The food features a mix of continental and traditional Greek dishes. Wine is served daily with lunch and dinner while aboard the ship.

Vantage Deluxe Travel will be the agent for our travelcade as they have given us such wonderful tours in the past few years. They are NOW accepting reservations for specific cabins. The prices we quoted in previous articles were based on the information we had at the time, but they were priced for the off season, not for mid May when we plan to travel. The weather should be warmer, in the 70s, in mid May. Mid May 2008 prices begin at $4815, per person, for the standard outside cabin and includes air fare from most east coast cities. The cost of the extension to Crete is priced at $799 per person. You need to make your reservation NOW, to reserve the lower price. A $500 registration fee, per person, is required to reserve your cabin. Since this is a pending reservation, due to the fact final prices and dates will not be available until spring 2008, your $500 will be fully refundable up until Vantage notifies you of the final 2009 prices. Please review our last article (# 3, on the web site) for specifics on each class of cabins on the ship.
