A Taste of Big Bend Texas Travelcade
Wow! We did not dream so many would want to join us on the travelcade. For all who have signed up, Thanks a Bunch. We have had to make some changes in where we will stay since there are 25 rigs going instead of the original 15, but that’s been done.
The Travelcade is full at the present time with two on the waiting list, however if you think you might be interested in going please contact Harry Peel, Travelcade Director. We can take more on the waiting list because many times people have to drop out for various reasons. (Link to Travelcade Registration Form.)
We will dry camp on the Court House square in Sanderson. We have asked the Sheriff to tell us about being a West Texas Law Officer. They usually have some pretty good tales. Our nephew is Sheriff of our county and he does have a few tales of being Sheriff here.
Del Rio is the other change. We have stayed at the new place, too and it is much larger than the original campground.
There will be lot of car pooling because sights are pretty far apart, but who would want to miss what you go out there for!!
Even if you aren’t going on the travelcade, you will want to attend the Fall Rendezvous in San Antonio. What a unique place. We look forward to greeting you with “Welcome to Texas.”
