At the Bloomington, IL rendezvous in October 2005, the Board of Governors of Fleetwood Travelcade Club gave tentative approval for the formation of a “Special Interest Group” for Fleetwood motorhome owners pending  approval of the bylaws. In Rayne, LA the Fleetwood Motorhome Group met and wrote the by-laws and elected officers. The current officers are: Sam Whitaker, President ,  Gene Cody, Vice President and Sara Rouner, Secretary/Treasurer. The by-laws were submitted to the Board of Governors of Fleetwood Travelcade Club for approval. In the interim organizational activities continued. The steering committee has been updated to include Pat Bradford #16065 FTC President, Sam Whitaker #13679, Dan Gilmore # 12359, David Slough #9768, Ron Haworth #23294, and Gene Cody #15684. The Board of Governors, by unanimous vote, approved the bylaws at the Fleetwood Travelcade Club Rendezvous in Montgomery, TX in October 2006.

 

Owners of all Fleetwood manufactured products are invited to join the Fleetwood Travelcade Club and sign up for the Fleetwood Motorhome Group. Your Unit Number will be the same for both.

 

Motorhome Group objectives are:

 

Increase membership in the Fleetwood Travelcade Club

Increase Fleetwood support for the Travelcade Club and it’s membership

Increase use of RV by owner

Increase Fleetwood RV brand name loyalty and ownership value

Enhance the Fleetwood RV experience by providing a forum for fun, fellowship and education.

Provide opportunities for contact with the factory through service and management attendance at events.
